BFC have a soccer school for P1 and P2 where coaches Euan, Brett, Colin and Iain work hard to ensure that our young players get off to a good start with the club. The emphasis is on fun and development, with lots of use of small sided games to ensure all our young players have time on the ball to develop their skills. In line with best practice we aim to use effort-based praise (rather than talent-based praise) as this is scientifically proven to deliver better results in the long run.
If you have any questions about out our coaching approaches or methods, please do not hesitate to ask one of the coaches. We expect, but do not take for granted, active parental support and involvement to reinforce our young players' development. You will be given homework and asked to join in from time-to-time !
